Anyone using Multi-Camera mode on their Z3?
I have a Z1 & a Z3 both bought direct & unlocked from Sony. Both are running kit kat v 4.4.4. But I cannot get them to work together. My Z3 says "connecting" but never connects to the Z1. What am I doing wrong?

I've a Z2 Tablet & a Z3 Compact & they would not connect until the older tablet got its 4.4.4 Kitkat update. Now it's still a bit hit & miss but does at least work.

The way it seems best is to have both devices hooked up to a local wifi hotspot. Then get the controlling camera setup in "Multi-camera-mode", place its NFC symbol onto the one on the second device and hold it there. You will be prompted with the "Touch to beam" text on both but only tap on the one you want to use to control the pair.

And most of the time it will then show both camera images on one screen. There's a limit to the quality & fair bit of lag, but if you press the shutter button then a photo is taken using both sensors. Video works as well, but is lower quality than normal.
