EDIT: Problem Solved!!!!
Native texting app did not reduce size of picture sufficiently to meet AT&T's (recently changed) size limits. Other apps like Textra and Handscent can limit pix to user settings. I used Textra as my default app, and now full blown pictures from my Gallery are properly resized and go out.
Previously:
Having trouble sending texts with pictures with my LG-G3 or wife's HTC One Mini when connected to my AT&T Microcell. Have tried everything to fix, including resetting microcell, resetting router, confirming latest software on both, etc. Had this microcell for a couple of years and this problem just started recently.
Plain texts go out, but if a pix is attached, message sits in app "sending", never goes out. If I go out of range of the microcell and back on AT&T network, pix/text goes out immediately, even the one sitting in "sending".
Using native texting app. Power cycling phone will enable pix/text to go out because phone powers up on AT&T first before switching to microcell. Switching to airplane mode and back doesn't seem to work.
But the darn pix ought to go out with the microcell anyway. :-\ We can receive MMS while on the Microcell.
If you have a similar setup, are you able to send pix/texts (MMS)?
Have you had a similar issue before? What was the fix? New microcell?
Thanks for any advice.
