AOD and Good Lock not working right

I have mine set to show up only when receiving a notification. It is definitely connected to the screen brightness wherever you have it set. If you're using auto brightness then it is tied to that also.
i already have mine set to 'only when receiving a notification' too. so your icons are very readable? do you happen to have a screenshot? i do not know how to do a screenshot of the AOD screen and i don't think taking it with another phone would do justice.

AOD would have to be on but volume down and power button same time

@mustang7757, @Stanley Kubrick,

i think i found a solution to show the icons better. i use 'LockStar', tap on the icons and set the color to bright yellow. now i can see those icons in AOD screen.

thanks again everyone for taking the time for your input.

Same here, even though I change it in good lock it won't change on the phone. I am getting kind of aggravated with it but if I figure it out I will post here
It's not the most intuitive app to use... what I had to do is click on lock screen.. on the main screen of the app.. and you should see a picture of your lock screen and your AOD screen... Click on the AOD screen and an image of your AOD screen should come up which should be just black... then tap that and at the bottom it should say add widgets... Tap that it'll take you to a clock screen.. select the style of clock you want as you scroll down you can choose 24-hour or 12 hour and the clock style you want such as the one you show in your picture... Once you get that style chosen then you got to go up to the upper right corner tap on the download icon and it will add it to your collection of clocks... At the bottom you have to click on my clocks and you should see a selection of different clock screens that have been added.. Tap on the one you want and I believe you click on save..Go back to the AOD screen tap that and at the bottom you should see the widget for your clock tap that and it should add it to your screen and click on save... I'm doing all of this from memory so I'm not doing it as I go along but that's what I had to do... And if you keep tapping on add widgets you can add things like the temperature and I have a radar app on my AOD screen... Again .. if I missed a step it's only because I'm doing this by memory and this is not the simplest app to use by any stretch.. but at least you should have some idea and you can sort it out for yourself... Most of the people on these forums are pretty intelligent
