AOD flashing

so this is the first time i turn AOD on,and i noticed whenever i lock my screen,it would show the lockscreen before showing the AOD.so its like,i lock my phone,screen goes black,then suddenly shows my lockscreen then AOD turns on...im pretty sure this isnt normal...anyone facing this issue?

No I've never seen that. I've always used AOD. Are you using a third party launcher that may be causing it? I use Nova however, and still don't have that issue.

Ah yes. Im using Nova. With double tap to sleep.

if i lock with GoodLock,it doesnt happen,happens if i use Nova Gesture ...so its because of Nova then...

That's unfortunate that it happens with Nova! Are you going to keep using the launcher?

Which option do you have in Nova settings - advanced - screen lock method?

of course.Nova all the way xD id rather not use the AOD...

nope. even when using the navbar lock screen shortcut it doesnt happen.

Yeah I don't use double tap to sleep so I guess that's why it doesn't happen for me. Honestly, for some reason I couldn't get double tap to sleep to work on this phone but have used it in the past. I'm just used to not using double tap to sleep now.
