I'm having consistent connection problems even with some serious drops on wifi. Makes the market unusable. Also the power control widget is blank. Don't know if anyone else if having this problem. Too bad I don't have the time to go back to the first beta release. I'm sure this will all be fixed up soon.

None of those problems here... just the known mms bug, the lockscreen issue, and the settings.apk not working correctly. Other than that, all is well.
...Was surprised it didn't include the latest imoseyon tweaks, and I had to add the aosp carhome manually.

All in all not bad for a beta!

BEtA 3 just hit, seems like he's recommending to be on the Deodexed build of Gingerbread before flashing.

EDit: My BAD>>>You do NoT have to be DEODEXED for Apex Beta3/ApexRC.

Yeah, having a hard time figuring out the best way to get from the original Beta to Beta 3 without SBF, any ideas?

You should be able to flash right over but the beta, if I'm not mistaken, was off the .591 build, if so then you'll have to flash up to .596 (easy to do)

Only thing is the Radio is at .07...If I go right to Deox .596...will that cause a problem? Seems Fab is most concerned with the .12 baseband

good point, flash the stock rooted .596, I don't think you need the deodexed, I didnt have it and I'm having no problems w/ Apex RC.

you sure? everything i read says you have to be on radio .12 to flash .596, and beta is just .07

For those of you that missed it Apex RC 1 is out and already with a flashable theme (REVOLUTION)
Download and install within Rom Manager!!

Well the good news I knew what I was talking about, so it shows I'm learning all this stuff ... the bad news is I have never SBF'd before so guess I'm going to be doing research on that now.. Thanks got the avatar idea when I picked up my OG Droid

Hey here is a thought, maybe someone can tell me if I am as smart as I think I am, rather than SBFing, since I have a perfectly working phone...perhaps I can just flash maderstock, and go that route...any ides?

wouldnt the rooted "official" gb (.596) be ok for going right to this apex rom? just bootstrap recovery and apply this zip?

Shouldn't be a problem, that is the way Fab is recommending, but it appears jumping on the first beta has left me stuck where I am unless I sbf
