On my Verizon s9+ apps have been auto updating with all setting for auto updates off. Also I get no notification for the those updates just a listing of of the update in Google play. Dose anyone no what's causing it and how to stop it.

Have you also checked the Galaxy Apps Store to make sure that's not set to auto-update? If that's auto-updating apps that are also available on the Play Store, then the Play Store will also show them as Installed.

Welcome to Android Central! What do you mean when you say you just see a listing of the update in Google Play? If you go to the app's Google Play Store page, does it have a button that says Update, or does it just have Uninstall and Open buttons?

How long ago does it say they updated? Is it possible that you or someone else inadvertently tapped the notification to update the available apps?

Not that I don't believe you:), but just to be sure, can you show us a screenshot of the Auto-Update option in the Play Store on your phone?

Can you also tell us if it's every single app that's auto-updating, or only certain ones?

Same thing has been happening to me as well. Always turn off auto update and random apps keep getting updated. Thought it was because I was on the pie beta.

I'd try the lengthy process of going to each app where you'll find the 3 dots and auto update option. Turn that off.

all apps have auto apdates turned off. I just updated the Google app manually so it's not all apps. the apps listed as having been auto updated in there page description say was released at least 3 or more months ago.
