App Graphical assets showing in Photos

Hello, I recently migrated from a OnePlus 3T to the 6T and I noticed that on my new phone, I keep seeing graphical assets from different apps and the folders they live in showing up in the photos app. This didn't happen on my old phone, and I can't figure out how to stop it. It's just a bit annoying to constantly be asked if I want to backup some dumb folder full of app ads. Any ideas?

The directories where those assets reside need to have a .nomedia file in them. Use a file manager app to see if that's the case.
