App issue

Just wanted to see if anyone has ever had an issue installing an app from the Goggle Play Store on their S25U?

I'm trying to install an app (if anyone wants to test it for me, its Fight Camp) and it will download, but it keeps giving me an error amd fails to install.

I've reached out to their support team, but they gave me the generic Google trouble shooting steps, and they all failed. The final suggestion was to get another device and install it on there.

I don't have another tablet, but I did test it on my old, and very slow, BlackBerry Motion that I have sitting in a drawer. It installed on that device without issue.

I tried to install it over Wi-Fi and only in cellular. I even tried to transfer the app from the BlackBerry Motion using SmartSwitch, but it never shows up after the "transfer" completes.

Is this something that happens on the S25U in particular? I tried to search the install fail error but couldn't find anything in the forums that seemed similar to my issue.

Any insight or advice is appreciated

Did you try installing some other random app and does that work? Or is it just specific to this app?

It could be "Auto Blocker" in security settings. It will prevent the installation of certain items. You might check it.
Thats strange, IMO, because i only download from the play store and this was failing from there. I guess ill check it and turn it off to try to install. Thanks for the suggestion.

Ok, i just tried it and it still failed. I don't really want to factory restore just for this one app

Have you tried uninstalling the app then re downloading and then tried a new install

I realize what you said, I am suggesting removing the app you downloaded from your phone then try downloading again. Maybe something in the original download is missing or corrupt.

Have you tried clearing cache and data from the play store and then rebooting? Also make sure your playstore is up to date.

Theres nothing to delete though. Its not on my phone. It never was.

Yes, that was part of the troubleshooting guide from the play store and the app support from the company. I did it multiple times, there was no new update for my play store app, and it didnt fix it.

Its very annoying.

How much space left on your internal. Have you deleted some apps that you don't use and tried again?

Downloaded on mine , do you use a VPN? Can try clearing data then force stop play store
Yes, in the US. No, I don't use a VPN. I've done the clearing data, cache, reboot, shut down the app store, restart the app. Still won't install. Really weird. Im still in touch with the app company, I'm trying to see if they'll give me the apk amd try to side load it.
