Does anyone know what the app called "App Select" does? It has recently begun to appear in both my battery use stats and network use stats. Not a massive user of data but often in the top 5 battery drainer.
It appears to be a system app because it only appears in the application manager list if "show system apps" is enabled. It also has permission to use phone.
The app does appear to be something that can be disabled but I'm not sure what it does so I don't want to disable it yet.
I did a search on Google but didn't find anything about this app.
