On my Galaxy S5 I have placed as many apps as possible on my SD card instead of the device. When I update apps from the Google Play Store, many of the apps revert back to the S5 instead of the SD card (according to the Application Manager). How can I force updates to go to the card instead of the device?

Did you restart your device after the changes you have made? It worked for me! Only difference is I did not move all of the apps to SD Card.

Are u on KitKat? See if this app on Google Play help you.

I'm on Lollipop. Yes, I've restarted and wiped the cache partition. Have not done the factory reset, and hope that is not the answer.

Bump. Any way of getting updates to install to the location of the App? If I move the App to the SD card, updates to the App relocate the App to the device. Then the process is a manual move of each App via the Application Manager. Frustrating!!!

Same behavior/issue for me. With so many app updates, it's not good that we have to re-move to sd card for every one.

Same here, seems like it should remember that you have it on SD card and update to SD card, but it does not.

Especially painful because I'm in a bunch of beta groups and it seems like Facebook has a new version daily.
