The iPhone LTE hasn't been release yet. How do you know it has identical hardware to the iPad LTE?
Ok but I used google desktop search as an example. Searching across multiple sources isn't something that apple invented nor should they be able to patent. There are fundamental things that computers do, searching is just one of them. There must be prior art involving searching of computer networks prior to apple filing its patent claim. It seems very silly to me.

Ok, i get it that Samsung has phones that look like iPhones but the one thing that was not mentioned was labeling.
You set the two phones side by side and while they may look similar one says Samsung, the other says Apple iPhone. How are you going to confuse the two?
We're not the idiots Apple insinuates we are!

Don't see these patents against Motorola. At least the Swype to unlock.
Not bothering to look up the rest.
In any case, Motorola is selling every device they make as far as i know. Samsung is under a heavy fire for a reason (biggest competition).
Yet evidence exists from a major retailer that people returned Galaxy Tabs because they thought they were buying iPads. Not everyone is as smart as you.

If enough people read about how much Samsung has copied Apple products, those folks just might want to save a few bucks, and buy Samsung products in lieu of Apple's overpriced wares. (I just got done reading a bloggers's comments about how the verdict and attendant publicity just might not have hurt Samsung at all (they make a billion dollars in revenue in less than 3 days), so even if they get treble damages assessed, they aren't going to go broke, and people now then ever, will be thinking why buy the more expensive brand)

Please post a link. Checked the many articles and did not see the Swype to unlock patentAll of them have been levied against Motorola in cases around the globe.

iPhone 4S released as the iPhone 5 was no match for SII, and why try to damage a company by legal means if not because your product is not as good. This has been the way that computer companies have been operating since the days of the Sinclair ZX81. So I think Apple is also in the Spec war.
If we did not allow the Far East to take Western ideas and improve them we would still have cassette players the size of a hardback book, as there would be no walkman. CD players would be only available on stereo systems, and the MP3 player would be something from Sci-Fi, so I say let the Far East take inspiration from Western designs. As they very good at improving them, even if they cannot invent them.

Thanks. So where is this case now? I haven't heard of any Moto phones being pulled off the shelves. And this link states that Apple had no luck with the same case in Netherlands.
Edit: found it

Still don't get why galaxy s3 is the target since there's no defined path to Swype, just like others went around this silly patent.
By the way, gotta love how you can Swype into a new message, camera, browser, etc. without unnecessary unlocking. Apple BS only makes Android better
