Hello!

I'm a complete dummy about android so don't shoot. ;)
I have a device that runs on Android. The device has no USB port and is only connectable by wifi. When making connection with the device by using an internet browser and the ip-address in Windows, a standard home screen is shown without any other opportunity to navigate to other stuff like files, directories,...

I'm searching for a freeware application for Windows that can make connection with the device by wifi by inserting the ip address. I want to see the directory and file structure and copying and modifying files.
Anybody here who can give me a hint about which freeware application for windows with the function to browse in the structure of the device?

I forgot to tell that I tried a browser and FileZilla to connect the device

Can you give more details about this Android device? Are you able to install any apps from the Play Store on it?

Unfortunately there isn't anything like that without also having access to the Android device. Unless the Android device is running a file access service (which via USB would be a standard for most devices), there is no way to access them wirelessly. Can you install apps on the Android Device? If so, Phone Link for Windows may work (that's Microsoft's own solution, but it isn't available for all Android devices), or a File Transfer app.
