Question Apps continue to take up data after uninstallation?

On a 1+ Nord, after installing and uninstalling many apps, I'm getting not enough free space warnings more often as if residual data is being left behind.

Is this normal?

Hard to explain as I jump between user profiles making it difficult to track which I also suspect is causing problems. D:

I have other profiles on my phone, too. Storage stats still show a summary of the other user.

I did find a 1GB forgotten file, but there must be more.

If you tap on Other, does it show anything?

Removing apps is supposed to clean out all files, but the developer could have made an error when building the app. Do you have a File manager to see if you can poke around? I think all apps go to the same place, but I can't remember the exact address in the file system.
