apps launch automatically after update in playstore

hi all
I'm having a weird issue. every app installed from playstore will open on its own!
after installation is completed the App will auto launch
this is a big problem when I update multiple files they all just launch together!
pls help pls advise thank you all

Try doing a cache partition wipe, as described here: https://support.google.com/nexus/answer/2668187?hl=en. You won't lose any important personal data--it only clears temporary system data.

The trickiest part of those steps is when you see the Android on its back. You have to press and hold Power first, then press Volume Up and hold for about a second, then release--the Recovery Menu should appear when you release.

Oh wait--that link was for a factory data reset, which will make you lose all of your personal data. This is how to do a cache partition wipe;

1. If your tablet is on, power it off.
2. Press and hold Power until the device powers on, then immediately press and hold Volume Down (while still pressing Power). You will see the word Start with an arrow drawn around it.
3. Press Volume Down twice to designate Recovery mode.
4. Press Power to restart into Recovery mode. You will see an image of an Android robot with a red exclamation mark.
5. While holding down Power, press Volume Up.
6. Use the volume keys to scroll to "wipe cache partition" and press Power to select it.
7. When complete, highlight "reboot system now" and press Power to select it.

That's weird. Not sure what else to suggest besides a full factory reset. Maybe someone else will have a better idea.

I m also having the same issue....Application launch automatically after it updates or install...
I m using galaxy s4, 4.4.2
From last 3 days the this weird problem coming in my device.. :-( it never happened ever before.....
Plz help.

Its a play store bug. Uninstalling updates of Play store in settings should fix the issue.. It is drastic but avoiding the irritation of app opening everytime you update it is annoying
