apps not showing up after recent convert from T-Mobile

Hi all. First post on here....

I recently joined Verizon (Galaxy S4) from T-Mobile (Galaxy S2). After getting set up at the store, I took my Sandisk SD card from my S2 and put it into my S4 and thought I was good to go once I saw all my music and pictures appeared. But then I noticed none of my apps show up. But once I put the SD card back into my S2, it says they are on the SD card (Application Manager -> 'ON SD CARD').

I find it odd that my music and pictures are showing up but not my apps.

Any help would be appreciated!

Welcome to AC! Lots of info here, take some time to look around and have fun!

It was probably because the S2 was on Ice Cream Sandwich. With that OS, you could save apps and their data to the SD card. With Jelly Bean, on the S4, apps stay on the phone and their data can be moved to the SD card. There's quite a few threads in the forums about Jelly Bean and SD cards.
