apps reopen after I end them

Whenever I end all of the apps in task killer and go back into it they're all opened again. I never even opened some of these. Also anyone know if WiFi uses less battery than 3g?

Some apps open automatically. You don't need to kill them manually, Android manages tasks on its own and kills them off as needed. Just because the app is "open", doesn't mean its doing anything.

Additionally, even with wifi on, 3G will engage as soon as your are out of range of a known wifi network. Win-Win.

I'm pretty sure some of the apps you're seeing are the apps included with the phone, like CityID. We're stuck with these for now

the apps are not "running"

they just sit in the background until you run it. you are ultimately using more battery by killing the apps with the task killer. unistall

Had to get at least one Sheen reference in tonight.

I just leave my wifi on all the time, I've never seen it drain less with it off. If anything, I'd leave it on for convenience sake.

yeah turn the scan off for wifi and it doesnt affect battery
