apps running by themselves....

I use the Advanced Task Killer app, and it seems like every once in a while when i open the Task Killer app, there are TONS of apps that are running that i never even opened.

Whats going on?

Most likely these are system processes. If I were you, I would just remove the task killer app. Android auto-closes apps when necessary so they really cause more harm than good.

+1! I noticed the same thing. I'll randomly see 'slacker radio', 'google goggles', etc for no reason.

Theres no fat-fingering going on either. Its just really random!

Does anyone have a solution to this?? This is happening constantly, and i dont know how to stop it; this is probably one of the reasons that the battery life is so terrible.

An example of this: When someone calls me the CityID app automatically opens so that it can do what it is meant to do. Now, i know that this is normal, but other apps, such as Google Goggles is opening and many others, and its for no reason.

Any solutions???
