Apps transferable?

may be a dumb question, but i'd rather ask and be safe.

my current fascinate phone has a badly cracked screen. it works perfectly, but it's getting annoying and i'm going to get a replacement phone in a couple weeks. i just bought and installed beautiful widgets, and didn't stop to think until after if i'm going to be able to download the app on my new phone. will i be able to download it again on my new phone, or will i have to pay the price for the application again?

You will be able to download the app for free on your new phone. When you initially set up your phone you had to sync a google account to the market. That google account keeps track of what apps you have purchased. When you get the new phone and set it up, you will once again have to list your google account which will sync with the market. All of the apps you previously bought will say "purchased" after them if you go to "my apps" in the market. Just click on them and you will see the install button.
