Hey guys, I'm running SkyRaider 3 RC 2 and am having trouble updating Gmail and Adobe Flash. Any time I try from the market I get an "Update unsuccessful" message. I've tried going back to stock with root, getting the latest version of the apps, restoring my ROM, and restoring with Titanium, but to no avail. I've tried deleting the app from Titanium, but that left me with no Gmail at all and I had to restore my ROM.

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it, but if I remember right both these apps were "updated" versions special for the ROM, added by the dev. I think Flash was updated to work with Hulu, and Gmail to get rid of some bug or something. So maybe that's why I cannot update from the market?

Anyway, I would like to get the latest versions of both Gmail and Adobe Flash, just unsure how to do it. Can I grab the apk's from somewhere? Is there another way? Any ideas? Thanks for anyone who can offer any advice or suggestions.

I know it's over 200 pages, but I'm sure I saw the answer to your question here.

When you're using custom ROMs, the cook becomes your support system. I wouldn't just push an updated .apk unless rmk40 says it's OK to do so.

Yea, the threads get so long it's hard to find a particular answer! But I was able to get the updated gmail. Normally I wouldn't care, I don't need priority inbox or anything, but I was having sync issues that just weren't acceptable.

Anyway, my problem was that each time I would uninstall the app, I never rebooted before trying to install. Uninstalled, rebooted and it installed fine. I think this will be fine in this case, but I backed up right before just in case. Thanks for the response.
