So I just came over from my Palm Pre, R.I.P., (pours out a little liquor for the homie), and I just rooted it. So now, other than put Gingerbread on it, what can I do with it? Where's a list and descrips of apps that only work for rooted phones? Also, If an official Gingerbread update does come, do I need to un-root before installing? So many questions.... lol

Seems like all the old Pre folks prefer the epic to other phones, my wife and both came from pres.

Tethering app if rooted, backup apps. read a few of the stickies there is some good info there.

It's the physical keyboard I think. Unlike others, I DO miss webOS already. I wish someone would take the best features of WebOS and the best features of Android, and put it together to create a whole new mobile OS.
