April's Update

I never leave 5G on, as I'm rarely on an area that offers it. Also, you ight want to see if WiFi and Bluetooth scanning got turned back on, if you had it turned off. I never keep that on.

I just got my update a couple of days ago, and will report back if I notice anything!

After the April update battery life on my 7pro improved significantly (also I changed mobile preferred service from 5G to LTE but am on WiFi mostly). I used to get around 5 hrs SOT, but now consistently around 6 to 6.5 hrs. Are you guys noticing the same?
Turning off 5g and using LTE will definitely increase your battery life because your antenna doesn't have to strain to connect to 5g and eventually give up and switch to LTE. I don't really have experience with 5g because I live in the country where it doesn't exist (yet).

In "a country" without 5G yet, or in "the country", in one that does?
In the US, I see a LOT of 5G in rural areas now, more in towns, but a lot of places in-between and on the periphery, of the same.
I think T-Mobile is going huge, they seem to be putting up 5G at the majority of their towers these days, at least in the WA/ID/OR/CA (where most of my rural travels take place :)).

Definitely a huge issue though, when almost *any* transceiver radio is "hunting for a signal(s)", it's super hard on a battery...
