hi, i've been trying to port this over to the Optimus Slider with no success. what files do I need to change in this port to get it to boot?

Hey gannon, what did you try to do with the apns-config.xml? Did you try to edit the one for miui?

Not really, I just tried to switch between the miui and the CM9 one, why? > this is for MIUIv4

Haven't really tried for LeWa yet, so give me one second. But the other guys said he tried switching them out from each of the other IHO ROMs and it didn't work

Grab the download from the original thread that I linked in the OP.
The files you need to change are: apps, framework, media. BAM, boots.

just checking...

i get my base rom made for my phone and do what you said to the base rom? or is it the other way around?

did that with no luck.. still doesn't boot.

You guys don't have CM7, do you?
Well do you have a stock ROM I can work with?

yeah, we don't have cm7 (ANGST) but we do have a stock ROM with extras... link

i mean if it's too much trouble, please don't do it. i mean, i don't want to make anyone feel like they're supposed to do something.

Not too good. I've been PM'ing the dev that ported it to the p500 and he said it was easy to boot, but not to get things working.. I've gotten to the bootanimation, and changed a few more files, and it wouldn't get there again. It's not going to be easy, so it's very low on my priority list :)

On the plus side, I just ported Joy OS to the phone. Looks pretty good, but I feel that I'd get a few apple haters out there that wouldn't appreciate it very well. And in all honesty, I don't really like it..

EDIT: forgot to mention this.., I also ported DX OS but it's crap. I don't like it..
