Are glass screen protectors really worth it over plastic?

More than anything, I like the oleophobic coating. It significantly cuts down on the amount of fingerprints on the screen.
I don't know if I've been lucky or what, I've never used a screen protector and every phone I've used that has one drives me crazy. Someone told me I should get one of these glass ones but to be honest I don't see the need. I have two kids and am not super easy on my phone, so to each their own.

I know! It's amazing. I was always wiping them for YEARS. Now - it's almost magic.

Yes they are worth it! The zagg glass are very nice. Installation is very easy. A little thick for my liking. I think .40mm. Price is high unless you buy from fleabay. The Pefect fit is really nice as well and is fool proof on the install. Just expensive also. Skinomi tech glass and iloome flex, and mime ghost glass are also nice cheaper alternatives. the skinomi $20 and Perfect fit $40 were my favs. They all handle fingerprints way better the plastics ones

I got the glass screen protector for my Samsung Galaxy S5. I think its better protection than plastic! It feels like real screen.

Always used to use the plastic ones.... Now iv3 have a glass one on my S5 for a few months, I would never go back.

The only thing I would say is they're not fingerprint or glare resistant like they say.

I have the zaggglass tempered glass for my Samsung s5 and its the best... One time I dropped my phone and I thought I cracked the screen but the glass protector took all of the shocks and cracks.. I also got a replacment for it...

I would just like to thank everyone for this post!!! LOL, I will be finally getting my new Galaxy S5 next Friday and was trying to figure out which kind of screen protector to go with. So as I was just about to put up a post asking this very question what do ya know here this is. Well now I know I will be going with the glass after everyones reviews on them. I look at my new phone purchases as an Investment and would rather spend a few $$$ and get the Best Of The Best. I really don't even use my phones for talking but as my Mini Portable Computer so again it's an Investment. Again thanks everyone and Going Glass!!!
