I waited a year to find a phone that met what I was looknig for. That is, I wanted a new phone, and there wasn't an option on the market in "small enough for me" that met my desires re specs in other ways. There were lots of options I would have been happy with except for being "too freaking big". So no, options aren't gone, but they are awfully thin, because flagship phones got too large. I think the Moto X and the Sony that hasn't made it to the US are a reaction to that, and I hope that reaction continues.Just because options are thin doesn't mean that the options are gone.
Hey, I'm happy that people who want large screens can buy that. But there has been a real dearth of high-end phones that aren't enormous.
