Are Samsung Galaxy s²² Ultra sPen nibs replaceable?

After not receiving spare nibs and the removal tool I asked Samsung UK if they are replaceable.

Their reply is No.

So if I damage the nib it's a new sPen.

I had this conversation just after receiving the Note 20 Ultra 5g and they basically said the same. I do have spare nibs and a removal tool from the Note 9 or 10 but I've never really needed to change them.

Sounds like they're trying to fool people into buying a full new S-Pen rather than just replacing the nibs

One of the Samsung Community Members asked.the question to the Samsung people in the states and they responded with the same that they are not User replaceable.

Looking at the JerryRigEverything durability test YouTube video they don't look to be able to be removed either.

Well.. Who's going to find out if you can remove them? A small pair of plyers or a old removal tool is all you need to try it.

Sounds like someone that lives close to a best buy needs to go find out for us.

The Spen tip is replaceable I've already done it, and talked about it all over the forum.

I figured they were. My question is what's Samsung's excuse for not giving us any with the phone? Takes up to much space in the box, going to be green. So now we can order some in new packaging requiring boxing. Samsung is learning from the apple University.

There's replacement tips all over Amazon for less than $10US

Cost of course, less expense for them and more profit. I'm saying Samsung will say it's because they are going green, like the no charger head.

I hate buying stuff like this from Amazon, very high chance of knock offs.

It's a plastic tip, even the poorest excuse of a knock off would work. Lol

Although I do agree for a number of other products.

I've never had to replace one yet. I just buy a new phone before it wears out.

I've only had to replace one, the little kid got hold of it and rest is history.

Someone has already posted that they were able to change one out.
