Are there any private camera apps?

Are there any apps that keep photos private? I'm not talking about one of the dozens of photo/gallery vault/locker apps, but something that allows you to take a photo from within an app so the photo does not show up in the android gallery.

So far even with the photo vault apps that I've found that allow you to take photos from within the app, the photos are still icluded in the android gallery like it was a regular photo.

I need a way to take a picture within a locked app so that it does not show up in the gallery and is not backed up. Does this not exist?

That doesn't really do what I'm asking for at all. The only thing that does that's helpful is allow me to save to a different directory, but that's still going to show up on the device.

The only way I know of to hide images is to use private mode or create a folder and place a dot at the beginning of the folder name such as .private.
I'm not afraid to show off my nudie photos so I don't hide them.. :D :D :D :D

I don't have a Samsung, no private mode.

Is this an API issue with Android? I'm surprised I can't find an app.
