If you really want to split hairs, "Kit Kat" is the candy and "KitKat" is the OS.

I was just going off of the title of the topic, but yeah it is KitKat ... and Kit Kats are the best. Sorry.

This device definitely won't see an official upgrade to KitKat. Once the source code is released we'll know if it will be feasible to install on our device. Keep in mind that current 4.2.2+ builds require workarounds to have everything functional.
