There's a new Bluetooth vulnerability that was announced by armis called Blueborne, which if or when it's used will be pretty serious. https://www.armis.com/blueborne/.
I don't generally worry that much about vulnerabilities, because I know what to click on, what not to, etc. And I don't go to suspicious sites. But this thing can be put on your device or any Bluetooth device without you doing anything other than having Bluetooth on. The perpetrator or an infected device has to be within 33 feet of you.
Google sorted out the vulnerability in their September security update. Microsoft did this in July, while Apple addressed it with iOS 10.3.
My Note 8 is on the August update. I'm hoping that since tomorrow is the official release date, it will be updated to September. If you read the article, pretty scary stuff.
