I'm torn on this. My plan doesn't have the hotspot feature included and I refuse to pay extra for it so I was planning on going phablet instead of getting a tablet. I'm currently off contract on Verizon running a 2013 Moto X. I was considering going back to Apple and a 6+, but my 5 and 5c were such poor quality call quality and reception compared to my Moto X that I really struggled with the thought of another iPhone. I had a Note 3 for a little while and did not really like TouchWiz, I love the Moto X and the almost stock Android experience. When Best Buy came out with the $200 trade in promotion for the Note 4 I couldn't pass up the price so I pre ordered a Note 4. I have always carried my phones in a BlackBerry style holster so pocketablity doesn't matter to me, but some one handed usage is preferred. I never expected the Nexus 6 to be available on Verizon, but since it is and I planned on a phablet, I really want to handle it and see Lollipop before making a final decision. A giant Moto X seems ideal to me.

After reading about the potential of the snapdragon 810 with Wigig and being 64 bit. Probably gonna pass on the Nexus 6. Nexus 5 is still a little beast and should easily get me to the next Nexus or Silver phone.
Now if my Nexus 5 were to have an accident, then nexus 6 in a heartbeat.

Everyone ordering straight away just remember the nexus 5 had some design issues like the speaker holes being too small, which led google to release a second batch. Might be worth waiting for a bit especially when this phone is more expensive than the previous.

No, and for similar reasons that I've never bought an iphone, although Google not yet guilty of the whole Apple business ethos (which stinks). Quite simply I will not buy a phone which does not have expandable memory or a removable battery. The price is pretty darn high too but then it's a high end device, but fail to give a high end device expandable memory ... for what reason? Cannot carry a spare battery or easily replace it's original when it deteriorates ... why? It doesn't take too much thought to come up with a good reason in spite of any spin they may try and put on it.
Somebody asked "what's the issue it's a multi day battery": A multi day battery if you don't use it. Anyone ever achieved claimed battery lives?
Figures claim 24 hours talk time... test would have been achieved with a brand new battery and the screen would be off for duration of 24 hour call. Just wait until you start surfing (screen on) and you've downloaded all your favourite apps, many of which regularly access the internet to update info etc.
It's a 3220mAh battery, that's about 50% more than the old Samsung Galaxy 3 battery and we all know how long they really last once apps downloaded and you're accessing the internet regularly. The drain rate on the Nexus 6 with a 6 inch screen will be even faster!
How about all manufacturers state a new battery life tested under "surfing at 50% brightness" then we'll see some reality, yet even that would be further deteriorated with installed apps and 'normal' use.

After much debate between the Nexus 6 and the Note 4, I'm going with the Note 4. The N6's cost is only $70 less then the N4 and for that $70, I get a great camera on the N4. I don't have no problem with TouchWiz as many of it's features have been copied to Android. If I don't want a feature, I'll turn it off. I'm leaning towards no right now. I'll definitely handle it a bit in stores once it's released but I can't really see myself using a phone that big. I've played around with the iPhone 6 Plus and that was massive enough. All in all, I'll probably grab a customized Moto X and save $100.

I cant wait to buy one and get rid of my s4. I know it is a bit expensive but i am more worried about the tax and shipping. i hope that the shipping will be free.

Sign up for a Google Voice number and use hangouts to make wifi calls, it works great. You can forward your calls to your cell number to the google voice number too.
