x2... i love my phone and haven't had any issues with slow text messages, contact goofs or overall bugginess. i only download apps that are highly rated and clean out the cache and old messages religiously. (i'm not saying that this phone is without it's problems/quirks!). i wholeheartedly believe a lot of the issues people complain about are results of "crap apps".

Well, i'm officially Jelly... Never thought they'd be getting it sooner. The Galaxy S series really turned Sammy into a monster corporate presence, capable of pushing their will on carriers (no logos, no changes, quickest updates, best advertising budget). In addition, they're looking past their competitors; looking only to compete with Apple.

I still believe the Evo is a better phone, at least for me. As always, I'll take a good hard look at both the S4 and Next Evo before I choose which to go with. This year, I have not been disappointed with my decision.

Not only does the sprint version of the s3 has jb already but they are selling it for 50 bucks on bf

My phone can't even tell me who's calling me until after I let it go to voicemail or answer it. Let alone load a text message in a reasonable amount of time. I feel bad for me.

And regardless of which version of android we have if they keeping leaving gaping holes in performance I'll continue to feel bad for us. I switched to android and to sprint for this phone and I'm feeling pretty let down with it. Every time I pick up this beautiful piece of hardware and the caller ID doesn't work a little piece of me dies....(you have to still have a sense of humor about it)....no "sense" pun intended

Have you tried a factory reset on your phone? Something definitely isn't right there.

I think it's silly and childish to be pissed at HTC/Sprint for not getting Jelly Bean first.

Now if two or three months go by or not at all, then yeah it makes sense to be ticked off. But we all know how large of an undertaking it is for them to push out an Android upgrade.

They came through with addressing the multi-tasking issue when they swore up and down that there was nothing wrong with it. Let's cut them a little slack for a couple weeks.

Get a new one....

A couple more months and I won't even be upset that my EVO doesnt have JB. I'll be in Germany and will have the One X+ with JB in my hands. In the end, I'd take an EVO with ICS over a Sammy even if it had Key Lime Pie on it!!!!

Well, 4.2 will be out shortly... I hope they don't pull one of those scenarios where... "Well, I know 4.1 is almost ready, but let's scrap it! 4.2 is here, let's start over with that!" then proceed to take forever getting it to market.

I've moved back to AOSP ROMs, so at this point I really couldn't care less

Since my issues started with a software update I'm optimistic they will end with one as well. From the number of threads and the rescent contacts problem poll I am clearly not the only one having issues. I would rather not deal with returning my phone if I don't believe I have a hardware problem.
