Are you more careful with this phone?

I am.
I've became attached to it. I'm sure the new will eventually wear off. But for right now, it's just so perfect, I don't want to scratch it or mess it up. Or endanger it.
I find myself handling it more firmly. And more cautious about where it's at.
I normally would put my old Note 4 in the side pocket of the lawnmower when I mow.
Not this one.
I leave her in the garage. I'm just more cautious about where she is.
But TBH I have reached a happy spot where if I don't have my phone on my hip all of the time, I'm ok without being connected.
Having a phone that's a 10 is a double edged sword.

I must admit. I'm being pretty precious with my new Note 8 at the moment. It's just so new and shiny and gorgeous. I'm always careful with my phones but I seem to be being extra careful with this one!

Not really. I'm always slighly paranoid when others want to my new phones. They all ahve butter fingers.

I try to be. Dang thing fell out of my hand last night and I literally fell on my butt to catch it. Lmao. My fiance was laughing so hard😁

I try to, especially w/o a case. I was wiping off fingerprints the other day and it nearly slipped out of my hand.

Yup. I have an OtterBox Symmetry and a BodyGuardz tempered glass on it. I still treat the phone as if it is naked. Lol

I've always been very careful anyway and this gets the same treatment. I do keep a tighter grip since my case isn't grippy enough for me.

Not really with case and screen protector plus insurance I am covered. I also don't abuse my devices.

I have every phone that I've ever owned (except 2 Note 7's) They are all still MINT!

YES These things are FRAGILE. I already cracked my screen from a 7 inch fall from my pocket into concret. Thank goodness I have excellent 3rd party insurance 😉

Just out of curiosity, how was your pocket only seven inches above the concrete?

I'm just generally careful with all my devices. I've used my last 3 phones going back to a S3 naked and they've been in perfect condition when I retired them.

Uh yeah I'm totally ocd about this one. I dropped my s8 plus once and shattered the screen.

I'm never particularly reckless with my phones, but i'm also never particularly careful, I just make sure I have insurance, and never really worry about anything else. lol

Sidenote: This will be my first Note, so my comment mainly refers to my experience with iPhones.

I sat down on the stoop. It literally slid right out of my pocket and fell the hieght of one stair onto concrete
