Yeah THAT would be something to salivate over.
But I don't see it happening.
It looks like Verizon's abandoned the Nexus line.

The only phone that is worth waiting for the rest of the year would be the G2 abd to be honest, other than the Nexus 4, there really hasn't been a good phone from LG.
Not even the G2..
1. The UI is WAY too similiar to Touchwiz
2. It's plastic
3. No removable memory on a plastic phone? (Who's idea was this?)
4. Power and volume buttons on the back of the device? What if I want to use the phone when it's laying down on the table? Unusual button placement that I just can't see myself getting used to.
5. Copying the "Smart Cover" idea from Samsung also incorporating the view window.
6. Animations are too similar to those on Galaxy devices

There's no SD card slot on the One either.
Though you do get those forward facing speakers & metal body to compensate.
As long as Verizon carries the 32GB version I'm in.
It's gonna be in a case so I don't care so much about the color and I know better than to expect Verizon to do something like carry the 64GB version.
Now if they only carry the 16GB version they can suck my left nostril (and slurp the snot too).
If I'm not mistaken there are only 32 GB HTC Ones... (excluding the AT&T 64 GB one)... Not a 16 GB.

I thought I saw 16GB somewhere.
Hopefully I read it wrong or that site was wrong.
EDIT
Some sites are still saying it'll have 4.2.2 and it's supposed to be released with 4.3
It is coming with 4.2.2 out of the box. HTC is aiming to have 4.3 for all devices out by the end of September, not at launch for the Verizon variant.
Jeez, you are so demanding..... I honestly don't believe smartphones processors go out of date unless they are extremely sluggish, which we all know the HTC One it's not.
I love how people call this phone outdated. Since its release, there hadn't been a better phone out. I had a S4 and I use to be a big Samsung guy, but too be honest I think the S4 is a gimmick and so is it's features. The build quality is a joke when compared to the HTC One.

As for the note 3, it's just going to be a large gs4 and after owning the note 2 for awhile, I will never carry around such a big phone again.
I will be deciding this week, it's either the HTC one or Moto X(for stock experience).

For me it's not a hatred of plastic, but a hatred of the kind of plastic Samsung uses. There is just no excuse for that horrible, tacky, glossy plastic, when soft-touch is just as (if not more) durable and looks and feels 100 times better. What troubles me the most is that Motorola and LG are now copying that crappy look, most likely because they see so many Galaxy phones selling, and they think imitation will help their sales. Say what you like about the Droid line, but I always loved their "industrial" look and feel, which peaked with the Kevlar-backed RAZR HD. Now they've gone in the fingerprint magnet direction. It sucks. Why does everyone hate plastic so much? I just used a nexus for a few days, while it felt great I still don't see the "build quality" debate. How is something that is 100% subjective worth arguing?
