I would be ok with it on my wrist also. I'm just concerned with the thickness. I was hoping someone was using one to direct me to one that works. I'm not sure on the waist, but I'll look into it more. The watch works great, but battery is concerning.Back to armbands, I have never got on with them as my flexing biceps just cause it to gradually slip down to the crook of my elbow. I prefer to use a waist pouch with the pouch itself nestled on my bum round the back. This is the one I currently use

putting the phone in the main pocket and the house / locker key in the outer pocket.
