As much as I liked the phone...decided to send it vack

To be honest if there are that many things wrong...I'd return it while you can.

Well I traded in my s9 for the 550 deal so it's now my back up phone.
Don't get me wrong it's a great phone but I run my business off my phone so I'm interacting with it a lot during the day. The little things add up.

I noticed with apps like Kindle...it just acted strange...the phone is not as powerful as my note.

Amazon apps are bad full stop, for example if you have the store, kindle and audible installed then kindle and audible open in the background as soon as you open the store and on a Samsung I have not found a way to stop this.

There's an issue with the proximity sensor which is causing the AOD to not shut off at all. It's also causing all S10's to have accidental touches and screen wakes while in the pocket.

Are we sure it's an issue or by design?
Just because prior models operated that way doesn't mean that was the intent here.

I just noticed this today on one of my S10+. Still love this phone though.

Considering aggressive battery management is one of the top features Samsung is pushing, I find it odd that this would be the intent.

While that's true AOD doesn't use that much power. Just find it odd that it would get past QC if it wasn't intentional.

Why would they want the aod on while it's in your pocket? That would be weird design choice. Let's never let your screen turn off.

So it sounds like you got a S10? Did you get rid of your beloved Pixel 3XL? Or just a new addition to the family?
