As the U Turns! HTC U11 Waiting Room!

Folks,

It's the ubiquitous a new phone is coming waiting room! So who is anxious to get this phone? It looks pretty cool! I owned and LOVED an HTC One M7, yea yea OLD SCHOOL! lol But I think/hope the 11 U will bring a little glory back to the faded HTC flag. Apple and Samsung get all the hype, BUT HTC has made some pretty good phones too in the past. They know how to do sound and camera in a smart phone too!

So let the wait begin!

M7 was their best ever phone HTC made! Ioved it. I still have the M8 and love the dual camera in that too.

So, hopefully, HTC can make a good comeback with the U 11!

I am excited. Audio is supposed to be better on both internal and headphone. Screen is also supposed to be better. Water resistance is a nice addition but not a must have for me. I like the aluminum of the 7, 8, 9 and 10 but it's getting old. Not crazy about the glass back but they can do more design with it. I'm really curious about the edge sence and what it will bring. I'm also glad to have the fingerprint scanner on the bottom with the capacitive buttons rather than the on screen buttons.

Anyone heard if this will have wireless charging? I don't recall reading that anywhere, but I am hoping it will.

No I haven't heard anything on wireless charging. I have my doubts it will have it. For me I don't need it because of fast charging and don't really want it. Just something else to slow the phone down

Given HTC'S previous phone releases, I doubt there will be wireless charging.

Don't know. I know there has to be more than just a few that are interested in the 11.

Think I am in the same boat as you. I switched from the HTC 10 to the S8 and I am loving the S8. I am still curious at about this phone though. Have always liked HTC phones but just feel they are losing touch!

How does this slow the phone down? The S8 has fast charging and wireless charing. Therefore I have the option. Options tend to be a nice thing.

Well the HTC 10 is a great phone and was only $599 on pre orders and the first month after release.

I have both and I cannot agree with that statement. Horses for courses but the S8 is a very, very nice phone. HTC 10 is no slouch but it is not better than the S8. HTC makes some great phones but their pricing has always been out of touch. They need to lower the price and get people buying their phones by the bucket load. HTC 10 was a really nice phone but it didn't sell in the numbers that HTC needed.

I've owned my S8+ close to a month now and really enjoy it.

But I've always been a fan of HTC having owned an M7 and M8

I love the way the blue Ultra looks and if it weren't for the S8+ ....... the Ultra may be in my hands now.

I'll hang out here to keep an eye on the 11 if that's okay haaa ???
