I'm running version 4.4.2 on my Verizon MotoX. I have been able to listen to my texts and reply to texts using my voice while driving using Assist until yesterday. Suddenly, the Voice Reply option has disappeared in my Assist app! I've uninstalled Assist and reinstalled it but that did not help. I called Moto customer service yesterday and the language barrier was such that I finally had to give up. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Do you mean to say there's no "Talk to me" checkbox in your Driving Mode settings?

On the Driving page it shows:
"Talk to me" - I have this checked
There is a right facing arrow and when I select it I then have the following:
Read Text messages (I have this checked)
Tell me who's calling (I have this checked)
Then it shows in blue font "Reply with a text message" and it provides me with two options:
Quick Reply
Do not Reply
It does not give me the option to:
Voice Reply
Send a text using only your voice

I just got my replacement moto X last week because of a camera issue. My old one had an option under driving mode for voice reply, and my new one does not. I know that it's the latest version of assist because it has the home thing. Which has never come on for me by the way.

Same here, this is beyond frustrating because I had the same problem update before last. I've given up on Moto Assist, disabled it, and use Agent now.

I had assist active when driving into work this morning.
It appears options have changed in the new version of assist.
So when you get a text message, and you say "listen" to the text message it will play . After I listened to it,then I can respond with voice
If you choose to respond and you speak your message you will get another pop up and can either send it or canel.
The only option on the Assist App>Driving Mode appears to just be "Talk to Me"
The version I have is 2.2.35

Edit:
Btw I havent had a problem getting the Home setting to work.

Good app to replace Assist, features actually work right. It doesn't have a Home option, but it does have a feature to find your parked car, which is more useful IMO.

I've tested and it all works great except the Parking which I haven't had a chance to test yet.

If Moto Assist no longer offers the option to auto-reply to a text while driving, it's kinda useless to me. If I'm trying to cross 3 lanes on the freeway in traffic, dictating responses to text messages is even too much effort and distraction for me. The auto-reply option was wonderful.
