Assisted dialing

Went to Cancún recently, I missed the assisted dialing on my unlocked 10+. I had to edit all the numbers I had to call or text in the US. And for some reason my contacts dont update with +1.

I chatted with Samsung and they said this is a carrier option. I am with Tmo. Cant seem to add it.

Has anybody find a solution to this? I can see a system app for it but that's about it.

I have to look into on my Note 10+ it's unlocked but usually when I'm overseas it's Facebook messenger or Whatsapp I use

It has to be there somewhere in call settings, maybe chech for *roaming assistance * in settings in the dialler instead of phone settings, that's where I have the option for automatic adding country code to existing contacts when roaming

Uh oh, that I dont have. On the dialler, options, settings, towards bottom I only have supplementary services and other call setting.

Neither have roaming services on its submenu.

I have same as you but under supplementary fixed dialing nothing else you can do, I think carrier handles this automatically

Who is you carrier? I tried both Tmobile and Verizon but it didn't show up.

One other thing that kind of confused me is it (assisted dialing) is offered by the carrier (Verizon), I saw it on her S10 (verizon branded), but how do I activate it on my unlocked unbranded Note (verizon sim)?

Fron Samsung they say it is there but it needs to be activated by carrier.

So I finally got around and flashed my unlocked phone to Tmo. Well, no luck! Assisted dialing is not there.

Can't seem to flash Vzn after flashing to Tmo. So I settled and accepted that I can't have that feature. Def this note10+ goes to chopping block next year!

TMobile , Verizon, Sprint, Att use the same firmware the Sim you use will load the carrier information.

I did use Verizon for ap, bl, csc, userdata and sim card,but Tmobile logo still. Have you tried flashing from Tmo to Verizon on your unlocked N10+? What worked for you?

You flashed it correctly, but you can use Verizon or TMobile and Att its same firmware they are interchangeable between carriers when you flash . You have TMobile logo with Verizon sim?

Something wrong here, since you flashed the Carrier version and it's unlocked it should boot up Verizon logo since you installed the Verizon sim , try to take out the Sim card and reinstall it see if it prompt you to reconfigure the carrier and automatically restart
