I went back today with my father to the Best Buy today since he wants one now and they gave us a really hard time. I broke out the reciept and they said they would honor it for us but not to send them anyone else. hahaha Supposedly they don't honor pricing modified by a coupon. Whatevs. We got our tablets.

I picked one up at Office Depot the other day. They were reluctant, but finally agreed to honor the coupon. I don't have access to a scanner right now, but here is a pic of my receipt. Hopefully it's not too late for this to be useful to some of you.

Oh no you were not at all late. Sir/Mam you are awesome. You are a scholar and gentleman/woman.

Took the printout of your receipt and the staples coupon and talked to the manager. At first, they said they could only offer that on the Iconia and blackberry. But I was adament and insisted that according to their policy they have to price match their own price (thanks to your receipt). They had no choice but to honor the coupon. I also asked the manager if he would do a price match on the Asus case with an online price of $35. He said they normally don't do it, but he would do it because it was only $5 off their price of $39.99.

My recommendation, go talk to a manager and take printouts of the coupon and the receipt. Be confident and good luck.

By the way, I had bought an Iconia this morning as I had lost hope in getting a Transformer. I returned it back to Staples in Vernon, CT. Also, I had put an Iconia on hold at Staples in Enfield, CT; I called in and removed the hold. So if anyone in the area is interested in the Iconia, you have two options.

Once again, thank you so so much for that receipt. Neither Best Buy nor Office Depot wanted to honor that coupon on the Transformer, but your receipt helped me in getting one from Office Depot.

I tried Best Buy but they wojld not match the price, all the Staples were out of stock. We have a few HHGreg stores that just opened so i gave them a try, they matched the price. Love this tablet, nice step up from my G-Tablet.

Confirmed by Staples the Asus Transformer is Online only and the coupon does not apply to it.

(also office depot has gotten wise and is now rejecting the coupon on the transformer because "staples does not have it in stock")

I was lucky enough to find an online order returned and grabbed it for $323.24. Its been the greatest buy of my life. Super happy
