AT&T And TMOBILE June patch

That fast is not from Costa Rica. I truly live in Cuba, I avoid mentioning it because it generally causes rejection and dislike, and I understand that.
God wants me to soon be proud to say that I am Cuban, but right now it is not like that, and it does not depend on me, it does not depend on us, the majority of Cubans.
It's very complicated. I apologize for lying to you guys.
Thank you very much for helping me and as soon as I update my dear ATT Note9 I comment.

Ok, and everyone welcomed here so no worries.

All firmwares for Carriers are universal works on all your simcard will provide the bloatwares for the carrier you are on so doesn't matter if you flash Verizon or any other firmware from carriers.

The same is true for the GalaxyS9 G960U from Sprint. Respecting whenever it is U and not U1

Hi,

I just ordered a Note 9 SM-N6OU1 after almost 5 years of S6.

I use t mobile, and I'm curious about the delay time between the release of a major Android OS update and when carriers like t mobile officially distributes them.

Thanks,

cd

That version is Samsung unlocked witch differs in software update, it waits for all 4 carrier to give Samsung the ok to update it .carrier phones get from the carriers as they test it out for Samsung on their network

Thanks.

So you're saying that although my phone is unlocked, I will get an OTA other than from T-Mobile? ... Maybe even a later timeline?

cd

Yes, the N960U1 unlocked gets the OTA after all 4 carriers rolled out their specific versions. Waiting for it too.

Not always after. For instance, the N960U1 received the CSF9 firmware (July security patch) on July 30, but the T-Mobile N960U never got the CSF9 firmware and didn't receive the July security patch until getting the CSGA firmware on Aug 11.

True not always , but most of the time .

Argh... after registering my Note 9 to Samsung, it turns out I have an unlocked? (I haven't tried putting in the SIM yet) for AT&T (confirmed by Samsung via automated email.)

Model #: SM-N960UZBFATT

I bought this from eBay, where the seller says it will work on any major carrier. Actually, it DID ADVERTISE as SM-N960U1.

I'm a noob at macguyverin electronics, also partly uneasy about macguyverin stuff.

So two questions, as I'm not ready to activate my new Note 9 yet:
1. Will a supposedly unlocked AT&T Note 9 work for T-Mobile carrier?
2. Will I have to find firmware for AT&T Note 9 model, and not a N960U1?

Ok, this is weird.

Again, total noob, totally confused.

(Sorry if this should be in another thread)

I've been thinking about returning this device to the ebay vendor.

But without activating my SIM/phone, I've been allowing software updates...

Sooo... apparently, this device's baseband is N960U1UEUARL1.

And now I'm confused.
