Yeah ,I'm just saying that is what a couple of people posted.
If you use a shipping label that the vendor gives you for the return, then your responsibility for delivery ends when you hand over the package to the shipper and get a receipt that shows the tracking number. After that, whatever happens in transit is for the vendor to figure out with the shipper, invoking whatever insurance the vendor may have bought.
But if you arrange and pay for the shipping yourself, then yes, insurance can be helpful.
Good LuckI did a mail find claim with usps. I have to wait 7 days to see what's going to happen on their end. I doubt they can find it or will do anything, but I'm trying to be hopeful. All I can do now is wait to see what usps says and wait on my bill from att. Either way I'm going to be cursing somebody out... loudly.

Yeah , that's what I remember alsoCorrect, mine was preordered and return via Corp Att store.
Odd i still have the DirecTV BOXES i canceled a year ago they never ask for those 3 boxes i got , all in the closet. lol
You'll have to look for him alsoThank you, we'll be sending you a bill with interest of 3,000 bucks.. We were looking for them.
Just kidding Bud![]()
That's awful. Did you use AT&T's shipping label? Can you get a screenshot of the tracking information?I wake up this morning to a $1000 bill from att. They are about to lose a customer. I could understand if this issue was my fault, but it's not. I'm tired of constantly getting lied to and told the issue is fixed . I'm also still waiting on that phone call from a supervisor to follow up .

They haven't charged it to my bank account. It's just been added to my att bill. Are you able to call your bank to dispute the charge?

I've been with them since 2003 and I've only had one time where there was an issue with the trade in and that was because my sister forgot to send the phone back. Luckily Att told me that I could take the phone into the store and sell it back. What they gave me for the phone was enough to pay for the extra charge . It worked out. I have never had an issue where they never got my trade in. It's pretty frustrating .I'm so sorry you're going through this with a 1000 dollar phone and AT&T..... that would most definitely sour me on them!!! I've never had an issue with them in 25 years, but I've also never traded a phone in, and we only did contracts for the first 4 years. I think they treat us better knowing we can take our unlocked phones to another carrier anytime we want ;-) In fact I've used that to get tons of perks over the years :-D

Idk if they put insurance on it.Was there insurance on that phone through anybody like AT&T since you used their shipping label? Insurance should cover a phone proven shipped out but lost in transit.
