AT&T December Update Patch

it's the August build and latest on ATT

Question for you. I posted this same question on XDA and I'd like you to look at the response I was given because you two are telling me different versions of firmware to download.

"Why does it seem like I am the only one on this version "AT&T Stock Firmware N960USQU1ARG9"?

How should I proceed to update my phone? I'm still on the July security update.

Thanks for any help."

Whenever I check for an update it says I do not have one. I spoke with ATT (Saturday) and they attempted to push it through manually but my phone still says it has no available updates.


And then I got this reply.


You can do this Odin to 1ARJ7 October patch. https://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...arj7-t3866875, after that once phone settles a bit go to Software update and check should popup a update which is November patch 1ARJA.

Reason i am telling you to do this, it's cause it happen to my wife she was stuck and never got Software update, so after i Odin to one of the latest Software, she started to get Software update OTA.



So which firmware should I go for ? ARG6 or 1ARJ7??

Do the ARG6 which is August , ATT hasn't pushed November yet , it will flash to November but stay ARG6 just incase

I'm the guy at XDA told you to do it with Odin since November patch been out from AT&T, if you Odin to 1ARJ7 which is OTA October patch, then check your Software update since AT&T threw OTA November patch which is 1ARJA. 1ARG6 and 1ARG9 Is outdated and very old.

It is according to samfirm that's the latest this program connect to Samsung servers any ota come to device go to that

Samfirm you will not see any att odin , so we go behind them and get att odins from other place 1ARG9 is crazy old patch .

Samfirm you will not see any att odin , so we go behind them and get att odins from other place 1ARG9 is crazy old patch .

The Update never got stopped they rolled out weeks ago and i just checked my Second Note9 which was on 1ARJ7 And OTA 1ARJA November patch poped up

AT&T doesn't make their firmware images available on SamFirm generally. For some reason, an ancient version exists on SamFirm, but it's nowhere close to current. ARJA is the current revision and is November patch. No Odin has been found for it yet, but an ARJ7 Odin image exists which is October patch.

Venom will have the ARJA Odin files when they become available. For now, just use ARJ7 and use an update zip to get where you want to go.

Let him download the August and see if it will update to November instead of him doing what your suggest November and have to wait for December

by the way he can flash any November carrier tmobile,Verizon to his ATT but suggest he sticks with ATT .

Just remember use Odin 3.13 and download Odin 3.13 prince comsey 3b..if you decide to flash the other carriers November update which is no problem to do but might fail in the regular 3.13 . They all same your device will know it's att just might have to uninstall some of the carrier apps that come with it ..don't worry about bricking it that way.
