I thought signatures were required for delivery. Did Fed Ex say someone signed for it?

as long as I've been a customer of att they have never required a signature. fed ex normally just throws the box through my burglar bars , close to the door and ring the doorbell.they didn't say anyone signed for it . they just said it was delivered to the right place.

I called them and they said that according to the GPS the package was delivered. they told me they'd call me back after they talk to the driver.

Hopefully the driver didn't steal it

Fed ex still can't find my package and att wants me to file a claim to get the phone blacklisted, cancel the original order, and then reorder the phone which can take another week.

I ordered a jetpack from Verizon and I guess the FedEx guy didn't feel like driving up my long *** hilly driveway or he was confused where I was at since I'm in the country and driver signed for it and put it in my mailbox.
