AT&T: Galaxy Note 9 Pre-Order Thread

I got mine thru Samsung directly. Started doing that 4 years ago and have never looked back. Makes the process so much easier and. Cheaper.

Samsung has the worst customer service. Haven't even shipped the Galaxy watches yet...

Is it me... or does anyone feel like the charge cord to the note 9 is kinda cheap???
My old s7 edge charge cord looks like better material then this cord... heck the akg headphones that come in the box is nicer then this cord...

Haven't plugged the phone in. Bought the duo charger...

Instead of upgrading with AT&T as I usually do, I walked into Best Buy today and found an unlocked Blue 128gig for a grand total of $313.00.

They gave me a $450 discount for trading my Note 8 and another $320 for a spare IPhone. They were also giving a $50 discount for activating on AT&T or Verizon.

I didn't get the pre-order bonus, of course, but I am definitely happy and love the phone.

You know unlocked devices on AT&T don't get all the AT&T features right?

Yes, I do. The value of the discount is worth it for me. Largely speaking I find no difference in day to day use. I also really like the absence of carrier apps and no longer being tied to one carrier. I understand though wanting to have a carrier branded device.

Right on. AT&T was pretty good this time around with their bloat. Most of it can be uninstalled more which is nice the rest I just disabled.

I pre-ordered 2 512GBs on Aug 11. The new shipment date from AT&T is between 9/12/2018 and 9/17/2018. Do you think Samsung still honor the pre-order bonus? The fine print said you have to apply by 9/13/18.

They should. Dont know if they will. It was beyond your control, that lead time and the order demand

My lavender 512GB shipped today. The blue 512GB is still in process. Not sure if I can activate one phone without the other, but at least I get to see one soon.

I like it. I just have to get used to the new position of the fps. I hate armoji though.it makes me look funny.

Lol yeah mine don't be even looking like me all. The first day or so having my note9 I kept reaching for the fingerprint sensor/scanner like I was holding the note8. Lol. Now my finger is trained.
