Finally was able to download and install. I was running stock 4.1.2 unrooted prior to the 4.3 upgrade. After reading the first couple of pages of this thread, I feel like it's a mixed bag what issues will plague you (and what things are fixed), but I'll throw in my two cents along with what I've done to correct things I've found (so far).
- Large majority of apps force close immediately! Fixed by uninstalling app and reinstalling. Haven't run into one yet that hasn't been corrected by doing this. Even happens to system apps (Google+), so uninstall/reinstall the updates since you can't uninstall the app.
- Camera flash on email notifications and incoming phone calls turned on. Fixed by going into Settings -> My Device -> Accessibility and unchecking the Flash notification checkbox. It was already unchecked, so I tried checking it and then unchecking it and it seems to have cleared whatever dirty bit was hanging around after the update.
- Discovered Swype keyboard no longer had to be set as input method upon reboot. Hallelujah!
- Massive battery drain. No fix on this yet, not sure what the hell is going on but it went from 100% to 60% in a matter of an hour of not very heavy usage, at least not in my opinion. Seemed to taper off between 60% and 40% over the next 3 hours, but under a lot less usage so seems logical, but still way more of a drain than normal. Prior to 4.3, I could run pretty much the whole day before having to plug in. Maybe this is just a one off type event and tomorrow will be better.
