Lookout seems to be hogging more battery than usual. Guess that will be disabled lol

So I've had kit Kat for 3 days and I am noticing some reduced battery, my android services never used to be higher than 12% and now it's always around 25%. Kies is stuck on an endless update loop on my computer so factory resetting would be problematic, think it's worth doing anyway?

Before KK I was at 32085. Afterwards I am now at 26039. I am quite leary of doing a factory reboot. Why should we have to do that for an update. Ridiculous.
I'd sure like to know what it means. I'm north of 27500. So what difference between that and the 36000 bandied about upstairs? Why go thru the inconvenience of a wipe?I can't remember exactly and I wish I had captured it while on 4.3 but the score was 34 thousand something. As soon as I updated to 4.4.2 the score was 33716. After I wiped the device and re-installed everything the score went up to 35443. So what does that mean ? Probably not that much. It is just a benchmark but as long as there is no lag and everything is quick I am happy.

I just ran a benchmark and scored 27000 out of the box. Already setup my phone so no reset for me.
Ran again this morning and got 36500..not sure what difference since yesterday..Except that they're getting 36000 after a reset. Does this mean they'll get faster processing, gaming, or web browsing experience than our "measely" 27000?
