Love to hear your experience so far.

For me, it took about 10-15 mins and all seems to be running very smooth and definitely quicker.

No issues yet. Not to say there aren't any but rather I haven't run into any yet. Pretty smooth.

Sweet... best, smoothest installation I have ever experienced with an Android device. As I stated in one of the other threads, it's as if I rebooted and the OS Number had changed - what a novel idea! Why did it take them so long?

My download took 4 hrs! However the install only took a few minutes. I had to move a couple of icons back to my home page but otherwise everything is working well.

Night mode will not work if you use a 3rd party theme.

That makes complete sense considering the intent of switching to a theme is to have that desired look of the theme, including all the colors, setup and icons. If you want things to be dark, then select a dark theme but if you only want to change icons and walls, then keep the default theme, replace the icons and wallpaper and then use dark mode

The Samsung theme store has excellent free dark modes..

It's not as bad, I don't mind using the default theme for now. I really like this dark mode or night mode.

2nd day, I love the gesture and hiding the nav bar (including the 3 bars itself). Lift to wake and tap screen to see a clock.

With my normal daily usage since the update. I can definitely notice the battery has improved and got more and last much longer than the previous version. I'm on my 2nd day with 43% battery still available. WOW!!!!

Things I have discovered: my battery life has gotten tons better somehow! Also, Pie has what I always wanted Samsung to have - the rise to wake feature! I am loving the gestures in replacement of the buttons!

I prefer having a hidden nav bar but the way it's implemented in the new UI takes a little getting used to.
