it's funny, previously, i've always bought ATT branded phones, and it always seemed that ATT was the last carrier to roll out OS updates...so I decided to buy an unlocked one this go around and ATT is the first ...go figure...lol So now I get to wait til all the carriers update. :-\

You can flash to any Carrier if you want

So... Got this installed but looks like goodlock doesn't work. Also don't enable the Lockscreen feature of goodlock. Your phone will basically freeze and would require a restart.

I don't know... I don't see any major changes aside from some different looking apps. What's the big deal about this Android 9?

Also the task changer is trash (see pic). How do I get the old deck of cards look back ??

Not a huge fan of the new setup for recent apps either. I'd also like to find a way to quickly toggle between the two most recent apps with the gestures enabled...the same way you can by double-tapping recent apps with the buttons.

No... you need to flash Att firmware then go from there

Unlocked phone have to wait on all 4 Carrier to pass then get it

I flashed to att firmware with Att sim card didn't get the update so I download the file to SD card now I'm on ATT pie .

I can't believe how much bloat is on ATT lol

Yes and lots off it , some you can disable and uninstall

Do you know if this new firmware for ATT is available anywhere so I can flash it to my phone manually? I have yet to get an automatic update with this phone and I'm sure not going to bet on it happening now.

Are you on ATT , if so
Go to samsangfirmware science
Model number note 9
Sm-n960u
Scroll down to current version
Arl1 then click
Underneath CSSA Feb 1 CLICK DOWNLOAD
Once you download put in your SD card reboot to recovery select SD update it will take about 20 minutes and will earse your data so backup

Edit : if your not on arl1 need to flash that first or it won't work

I can see why Att version has problems now updating lol...especially that software update button got to go Att looks problematic.

Only in certain cities for now. We have it here in Indianapolis and it is faster LTE.
