i did not get a email but about 3 hours ago it said back ordered and now it is saying processing so i have high hopes it will be here Friday. i preordered the atrix and got it on a Friday.. can't wait to get this phone i bought a nexus from google its awsome but i want to try the lte out the nexus dose not have it!

Actually, it looks like apparently mine was sent to the warehouse for shipment immediately after I ordered it on 4/22 (never got the separate email stating that) and has had the "In Progress" status since the order was placed. They define In Progress as "Our warehouse is still processing this item for shipment."

No email, but I checked my order status and it no longer says Backorderd in shipping status, it now says processing. So I am happy again, lol.

Mine still shows "Pending Shipment." I got a text from AT&T though offering insurance for the phone a couple hours ago. I ordered through AT&T's regular website the first day you could. I'm a little worried because I live in Hawaii and the site said they don't do Saturday delivery, so if I don't get the phone by Friday I have to wait until Monday.

I wouldn't count on them shipping out today. The Nokia Lumia preorders all shipped on Thursday with one day shipping.

Looks like I was wrong. Mine shows shipped now. Ordered 4/24

I ordered mine at Radio Shack in-store, and they told me they'd call me when it came in. Even though they had me pin down down an approx. date and time of day that I expected to pick it up, they indicated that they expected it earlier than the 6th. I've been a squeaky wheel every day this week, but still nothing.

Ordered 4/25 through Amazon. My email says expected del date is 5/9. Called Amazon yesterday and told them about the Radio Shack deal, and they matched it on the spot. Can't beat that deal!!!!

Just got my email that my phone is shipped! Of course I can't track the number yet, but I have a tracking number and it shipped via UPS SO HAPPY!

Those of us who paid the extra $50 to preorder through AT&T directly will have the benefit of receiving the phone 2-5 days earlier (depending on who you ordered from) in addition to the benefit of better warranty support in the event of a problem after the initial 30 days. Don't regret it one bit
