Ok so I'm not the only one. I even switched from my home wireless to my mifi and still downloading slow. Oh well, I can be a little more patient lol. Sure is a big sucker.

Started mine about 15 min ago. It seems to be downloading very slowly.

I was thinking that may be why it's slow. What's 1 more hour? I've only been checking for it twice a day for a month 😊

Reddit posters experiencing same thing... 30min/25% one poster. Just gonna have to sit back and relax.

There are over a dozen updates available in the Samsung Store after the Pie update that weren't there before the update. At least for me.

A couple of notes waking up and getting a chance to play around with the new update and see if others experiencing the same or wanna post anything new/interesting they've found...

1. Bixby vision is broke for me. Checks for updates the moment you open but then closes.

2. Samsung Members app didn't work before update, I uninstalled it before update and reinstalled it after and still not opening.

3. I notice in the part of ft. Lauderdale I live in I am in 5GE territory wherever I go. Don't notice any speed differences now but hopeful as 5G rolls out its an indicator that everywhere 5GE is should have 5G :)

No speed difference so far for me with 5GE. Was hoping the jump to 300-400 :-\

- PIP back with Youtube app when going to home screen or using other apps. At least I think it was missing for me for a long time but it's back after the update.

- In Gallery app when looking at pics I believe I see a Bixby Vision icon so that you can now have Vision translate pictures instead of having to use the camera to capture then do options like translate? My Vision crashes when opening so I'll have to test when it's fixed.

- Noticing OneUI running as smooth after update from before the update. Downloading/installing updates from Google App store seems to install faster than use to. I'll probably be playing with it today so battery life may suck but I'll be flying to DC this weekend so will get a chance to test out battery out in the field.

So far I'm ok with the update. UI looks fresh. The cartoony icons don't really bother me in 5 column mode so far. Update makes feel like playing with a new toy again... we'll see how long that lasts.

Mine downloaded overnight to my surprise this morning, but it only mentioned adding the meaningless 5Ge to the phone and I thought WTH. They did a security update what a week ago and they roll out an update just to add the 5Ge thing. Then it took forever to update and then boot the first time and I wondered what was going on to add a stupid icon to the phone. Going to play with it today, backup everything on the phone and then factory reset.

I like the update , I changed the navigation to gestures , took a little getting used to but I like it

I've always wondered....whenever I receive an update, I get a very generic notification that simply says I have an update. Where do I look to see the actual details about the update though? I generally put them off for a few days until I see others commenting with specifics about it, but it would be nice just to read them for myself before installing.

I would be surprised if it were a staged rollout. When Reddit user posted that he was downloading, people started posting downloading me included and bet it was nationwide.

I know if you try to check your software update settings a number of times, it will say something to the effect it's gonna give ya a time out for the day. So far I've never had problem getting it the moment it comes out.

If you've never had issues getting updates and up to february patch, I guess hang tight ;)

Nothing here - gotta love these "staged" roll-outs.
