Actually the word from HTC was the bigger markets will be focused on and the smaller markets launch dates will fall back. The only issue is no US release dates were announced so it's hard to say if we are the "bigger" market. Some say yes we are, others say we wont know till the big three make their announcements.

Called both Bestbuy and the AT&T store, and they both had no information regarding preorder or launch dates.

Ditto--even though they told me the 13th 2 days ago, now no information. I then called HTC. The US rep said they had not yet been trained on the phones to troubleshoot them, so I'm assuming it will be a while.

That is a good point, they may ship off some units to places like here in the US, because not many people care for HTC here and there won't be many buying it, that way if it sells out here, their name may get around a bit more. The UK on the other hand they need to stock up cuz a lot of people are going to want it, there's still some hope for america i guess, I just don't want to freakin wait another day... :-\

I wonder if they will now change the purchase time for the promotional program. I just checked the site and the T's and C's still say purchase by March 31st. I assume it will change, but it will be interesting to see if those of us who pre-registered already will get an email update.

Just found this. Good news, maybe. But still no date....

I guess it's kind of easy to tell the public that the dates won't be affected when the public doesn't know what the dates are to begin with. Though I guess it has to be before March 31st, otherwise nobody can cash in on the promotion. Unless that's all part of the gag.
